Hindustani Classical Music studies in India [Jan 2004] Realizing a life-long dream Pedro had the blessing of spending two intense weeks of studies in Bansuri [North-Indian bamboo flute], and was introduced to the Shehnai [North-Indian oboe-like double reed] with outstanding masters: India's living legend, composer and sitarist, Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar, in New Delhi, and with the most celebrated bansuri soloist of all time, Phadma Bhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, & Mumbai [Bombay]. Pedro received his first lessons ever in shehnai from his woodwinds-brother, Pandit Rajendra Prasanna, himself a descendent a long lineage of professional musicians. "It was more than a dream come true, it was an undeserved blessing of major proportions... I have a lot to work on, a lot of material to digest... a new sense of hearing, as well as a renewed spirit of thankfulness"... Pedro expressed. He is blessed also to study locally with master sarodist & head of the Indian Music Dep. at Cal-Arts, Pandit Rajeev Taranath.

	"Concert For George" DVD & CD Released Both a DVD & CD have been released recently of the concert in memory of the late ex-Beatle, Sir George Harrison. Held in Nov 2003 at The Royal Albert Hall, London, UK, Pedro was a member --& featured soloist--of the Ravi Shankar East-West Orchestra, alongside brilliant Indian super-soloists, including -among others-- Grammy Award winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt [Slide-Guitar], Pt. Tanmoi Bose [Tabla], Pt. Rajendra Prasanna [Shehnai], & Pt. Sunil Kant Gupta [Bansuris], with no less than Eric Clapton himself as guest-soloist at the end of the piece... ... Pedro played two of his one-of-a-kind 'King Bansuri', Western Böehm silver Flute and Piccolo, as well as Armenian Duduk [a first ever in Indian Classical music!]. Pedro had also the honor of notating [both in Sargam --trad.
