Pedro plays in Concert Homage to the Memory of the ex-Beatle, Sir George Harrison. (November 29th, 2002 @ The Royal Albert Hall, London, U. K.). As one of the biggest blessing ever in Pedro's musical journey, he assisted and performed on "Arpan", a 35 min. long piece composed by India's living legend, genius sitarist and composer Pandit Ravi Shankar, in "Concert For George", on the 1st anniversary of the passing away of the ex-Beatle. The "East-meets-West" super band made of musicians from both North and South India, and included super soloist like Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Tanmoe, Parto Sarathy, etc. Absolutely unforgettable.. |
My apologies for not updating this page for some time now..
I have been more than overwhelmed by blessings from God, beyond what I believe I deserve like:
- having more master classes with my duduk master-teacher, the great Djivan Gasparian;
- recording six different instruments for Armenian keyboard/composer wizard Ara Gevorgian's new world-music single;
- playing at the L. A. Forum with both Persian super-stars Dariush & Ebi;
- beginning rehearsals for concerts in 9/28 [@ Staples Center], 10/5 & 12/22 with Persian Pop diva singer Googoosh;
- getting Pandit Ravi Shankar's blessing & endorsement on two new original instruments created by Pedro [the 'King Bansuri', & the 'Oryx-o-phone'], as well as confirming plans for an upcoming concert in memoriam of the late Beatle, Sir George Harrison, as part of Ravi-ji's disciples all-stars band at the Royal Albert Hall in London, on Nov. 29th
- Yet another extremely successful 'Luis Palau Music Festival' in the Seattle area [with an attendance of 75,000 people a night, twice!];
- An extraordinary first: full concert with the 'New Song Gospel Choir', at T.C.O.T.W;
- and so many other things, like recordings, concerts, worshipping at The Church On the Way, etc..
Hopefully will do better from now on..
